LASER SPECTACULAR'S THE SPIRIT OF MICHAEL

Laser Spectacular's "The Spirit of Michael" is an amazing multi-media experience that pays tribute to the life and legacy of Michael Jackson. Featuring live performances including a dance troupe that performs Jackson's choreography to perfection, the show also includes state-of-the-art lasers, large screen video projections and concert sound. The Met stage ignites when soprano Kristine Opolais and tenor Jonas Kaufmann join forces in Puccini's obsessive love story. Spirited and soulful, Sexton's songwriting covers the American landscape, from gospel to R&B, country and blues. THE CELTS CELTIC ROOTS

Returning to the Ridgefield Playhouse are The Celts with their Celtic Roots show on Saturday, March 12 at 8 p.m. Celtic Roots tells the exciting story of how Irish and Scottish music influenced the development of American Bluegrass, Country, and Pop music. Seven musicians including pipes, whistles, banjo, mandolin, fiddle, Irish dancers, perform in this multimedia presentation. BOLSHOI BALLET IN HD: SPARTACUS

AAA Northeast at The Playhouse: Live in HD presents an encore performance of the Bolshoi Ballet's Spartacus on Sunday, March 14 at 12:00 p.m. In ancient Rome, Spartacus, a Thracian soldier, is turned captive by Crassus with his wife Phrygia. Forced to fight as a gladiator and kill one of his friends, Spartacus plots an unprecedented upheaval...Grigorovich's Spartacus was created at the Bolshoi in 1968 and has since remained the Russian company's signature ballet. This most spectacular production is an epic tour de force, giving full expression to the strength for which the Bolshoi's male dancers are renowned. There are many Beatles tributes, but only one note-for-note recreation of a Paul McCartney and Wings! The Ridgefield Playhouse and Ridgefield Magazine Broadway and Cabaret Series bring An Evening with Groucho to the stage on Saturday, March 19 at 7:30 p.m. In this 90-minute, two-act show actor/director Ferrante portrays Groucho's life, from his teenage years in vaudeville to his death in 1977 when he asked to be buried next to Marilyn Monroe. The fast-paced show highlights classic Marx Brothers routines, songs, stories, dances and hilarious ad-lib audience interaction. GRADUATION COMEDY SHOWCASE WITH CHRISTINE O'LEARY

The newest batch of comedians are getting ready to make you laugh! After eight weeks of writing and practicing their routines, students who took comedian Christine O'Leary's Stand-Up Comedy Writing Workshop will take their comedy to the stage before a live studio audience at The Ridgefield Playhouse on Sunday, March 20. HABANA SAX

Direct from Havana, Habana Sax brings its Cuban sound to The Ridgefield Playhouse on Sunday, March 20 at 8 p.m. Their unique brand of Cuban rhythms that is anything but traditional.
