Double dose of karma bites an actual racist, not the left’s pretend version

Despite the relentless narrative pushed by the left, America is not a racist nation, but that doesn’t mean that there aren’t racist people in America, of all stripes. People who look at life through the prism of color, as in the color of one’s skin.

And while there are exceptions to the rule, these examples should never be used to paint an entire group of people.

One such exception is seen in a shocking video making the rounds. An older white male is seen berating a mixed-race female Door Dash driver in the most vile manner imaginable — the good news here being that the man was arrested for his actions. A clear sign that the system can work, if we allow it to.

In the footage, James Rhodes is seen getting out of his vehicle and unloading on the woman, who is recording the whole thing.

*Caution: Extremely graphic language

“Get the f*ck out of here!” Rhodes yelled. “Get the f*ck* out of here. I pay a thousand dollars a month here. You make a thousand dollars in two months. F*ck you.”

When the woman calmly asked Rhodes how he knows what she makes, he flipped her a bird and said, “You’re a dumb black f*cking  n***** b*tch. F*ck you!”

The Door Dash driver asked Rhodes for his name, which only sent him into further rage.

“Yeah, and I’m racist, and I’m a racist motherf*cker,” he said. “I got an AK-47 right now in my f*cking goddamn car. I’ll blow your f*cking head off. I’m f*cking tired of you n*****s. I’m tired of you n*****s.”

The reprehensible incident took place in Stow, Ohio, and according to CBS reporter David Begnaud, the woman had her 2-year-old son in the car with her the whole time.

In another video, Rhodes exclaimed, “What, are they gonna come arrest me?”

In a word: yes. He was arrested and charged with aggravated menacing and felony ethnic intimidation, according to CBS affiliate 19News.

The victim, 22-year-old Kiauna Larkins, said Rhodes accused her of driving erratically in the apartment complex parking lot.

“After I delivered the order, I came outside, and the man he was still waiting outside,” Larkins told 19News. “He was just beeping, and then when I tried to leave, he started following me.”

Supporting the idea that the incident was an exception, Larkins told the affiliate that she had never personally experienced racism like that before.

(The extreme racism on display here is so rare and so over the top one might almost think the video was a sick parody.)

“Police tell me that Rhodes tried to justify his statements,” Begnaud said in a tweet. “He told police he left his anger get the best of him. He stated to police that he doesn’t own any weapons. It started in the parking lot of the apartment complex where Rhodes lives.”

The reporter added that the apartment complex “is going through the process of evicting him because of what he did.”

Stow Mayor John Pribonic condemned the “unfortunate and despicable incident” in a written statement.

“As a Stow resident for over 25 years, it saddens me to think that this incident could in any way define our City for those who are otherwise unfamiliar with Stow,” he wrote. “The community that I know and love absolutely condemns the behavior displayed on the video and, instead, chooses the principles of kindness, tolerance, and inclusivity to guide our daily actions and beliefs. Let me be clear – there is no place for violence, racism, or intolerance in the City of Stow. We take great pride in creating a welcoming atmosphere for all people and actively celebrate our diversity.”

There was no shortage of people exploiting the incident to project Rhodes’ behavior on a wide swath of people who happen to share the same skin color.

With the Democratic Party’s hard push on divisive identity politics, and the advent of the left’s toxic critical race theory, which claims systemic racism is rife in America and that all white people are inherently racist, racial tensions are running high. Add to the mix the contrived media narrative that racist police officers are targeting black people in the streets — a claim not supported by statistics — and it’s fair to say race relations are not at their best.

None of which justifies the disgusting actions seen from James Rhodes, but a reality that should remind the country that now, more than ever before, we must rely on our better selves to navigate the troubling waters brought about by politics.
