PA Man Accused Of DWI With Kids In Car

Police said the man refused to take a chemical test.

GREENBURGH, NY — A Pennsylvania man was accused of driving while drunk with children in his car. State police said they stopped a car on I-287 in the Town of Greenburgh for a vehicle and traffic violation.

Troopers said Favi L. Gudhka, 38, Equinunk, Pennsylvania, was found to be intoxicated while traveling with a 10- and 14-year-old in the car.

The children were turned over to a responsible party and Gudhka was taken into custody.

He was processed at the Tarrytown barracks where he refused to submit to a chemical test, police said.

Gudhka was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated with a child in the vehicle, a felony, under Leandra's Law.

He was released to a sober third party with appearance tickets returnable to the Town of Greenburgh Court Dec. 6.
