Michigan State Police say a Newberry woman has died after a crash in Luce County.
Troopers say Thursday around 1:30 p.m., 75-year-old Nancy Whalen entered the intersection of M-28 and County Road 403 in front of a Charter Spectrum truck traveling West on M-28, causing the crash.
Whalen was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the truck was treated and released for minor injuries.
Troopers say alcohol, drugs and speed are not suspected factors in the crash, and the incident remains under investigation.
