Nearly one month after BTS announced a temporary break from making music to focus on solo projects, the band made another major announcement. The Bangtan Boys are headed to Disney+.

Alongside their management company HYBE, BTS will release five new original shows for the streaming service, according to CNN Business. In a video shared with the outlet, the band expressed that they are excited to show fans “a more up-close and personal side of us.”

So far, three of these titles featuring the K-pop superstars have been revealed, per Variety.

BTS: Permission to Dance – LA is a 4K concert film of the band’s live show at Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium in November 2021. This monumental production marked BTS’ first in-person performance in two years, since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Another title that guarantees the band all together is BTS Monuments: Beyond the Star. This docuseries will chronicle the lives of BTS’ seven artists, and their rise to global fame. “With unprecedented access to a vast library of music and footage over the past nine years, the series will feature the daily lives, thoughts, and plans of BTS members, as they prepare for their second chapter,” Disney said in a statement, per Billboard. The series is expected to hit the streaming service in 2023.

The third title is In the Soup: Friendcation, a reality show starring V of BTS, Parasite’s Choi Woo-shik, Itaewon Class’ Park Seo-jun, Park Hyung-sik, and Peakboy. The series will film the five friends as they embark on a vacation to a surprise location.

“This collaboration represents our creative ambition – to work with iconic content creators and top stars in Asia Pacific so their talent can be enjoyed by mainstream audiences in multiple ways,” said Jessica Kam-Engle, Disney’s Asia-Pacific head of content, per Billboard. “We believe these new titles will captivate consumers worldwide and look forward to introducing more music content on our service.”
