Northampton County Man, 54, Threatens Neighbor During Property Line Dispute: 'I Will Kill You'

A Northampton County man threatened to kill his neighbor during a dispute over property lines, authorities charged.

Brian Metz of Plainfield Township is accused of threatening his neighbor during a verbal argument involving property lines, a swale, and wooden boards being moved just before 7 p.m. on Sept. 1, Slate Belt Regional Police said.

Metz, 54, allegedly told his neighbor, “I will kill you,” and made other physical threats, police said

A follow-up investigation found that Metz did not own any weapons, police said.

Metz was charged Sept. 8 with harassment and is scheduled to appear in court.
