The Chicks Announce Highly Anticipated Tour, With Stop In Charlotte, Set For This Summer

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The 13-time Grammy award-winning trio The Chicks announced Monday that they will return to the road with The Chicks Tour, including a stop in Charlotte, set for summer 2022.

The 27-city tour kicks off on June 14 at Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre in St. Louis, MO, making stops in Chicago, IL; Toronto, ON; Boston, MA; back-to-back nights in Los Angeles, CA, and more before wrapping up. The Chicks will perform at Coastal Credit Union Music Park at Walnut Creek in Raleigh, on Tuesday, July 12, and at PNC Music Pavilion in Charlotte, on Thursday, July 14.

Patty Griffin, two-time Grammy award winner, will be opening for The Chicks at both North Carolina stops, along with multiple other stops. Indie-rocker Jenny Lewis is set to join The Chicks Tour for six dates beginning July 23 at the North Island Credit Union Amphitheatre in San Diego, CA, through the Red Rocksperformance on August 2 in Morrison, CO.

The Chicks are also partnering with environmental nonprofit, REVERB.org to make this year’s tour more environmentally sustainable while engaging fans to take action for people and the planet. At each show, The Chicks/REVERB Action Village will be set be set up for fans to take action on important environmental and social causes, fill up at the free #RocknRefill water stations, and more.

After close to 14 years, The Chicks released their fifth studio album GASLIGHTER in 2020.
