A Randolph County man is facing multiple charges regarding crimes of a sexual nature that involved a minor. Per a news release, officers with the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office arrested 24-year-old Ethan William Colbert Tuesday following an investigation into a sexual relationship with a minor. The release also said that officers had been dispatched in August in reference to a runaway minor who had been located with Colbert before being returned to their guardian.He is now facing felony charges for the following: Disseminating obscene material to a minorFirst and second-degree exploitation of a minorStatutory rape of a childStatutory sex offense of a childColbert is currently being held on a $1,000,000 bond at the Randolph County Detention Center. He will make his first court appearance this Thursday, the release said.
