They repossessed my car and then tried to double charge me to get it back. They don’t go by the rules, they make their own rules and they’re good at lying and they talk to you like you don’t have no knowledge of what you’re talking about. They still try to scam you. That’s why I’m looking for an attorney now.

I’ve been dealing with this company for about a year now and been current on my payments. Even though I’ve been late a couple times they denied me an upgrade even though I’m halfway paid off of my car. They tried to give me the crappy Ieast broke down car to trade in on top of having a pay 500 extra dollars. They rip people off and scamming people for their money. These people should not be in business. Once I pay off my car I’m done with them.

Worst possible company to purchase a car! They prey on people who are convinced they can't get financed anywhere else. They sell you junk for high payments. Cut your car off when you are a day late on paying. All of their cars have kill switches and trackers which they do not disclose. Their extremely high payments are weekly not monthly. Thought it was suspicious when I filled the app out and the person told me which car I was approved for rather than giving me an amount I was approved for and letting me pick my own car.

This is my first time making payments on car. I should have went to a real dealership but I could afford it like most people that go to Carhop I’m pretty sure. I got my car just about a year now 2012 Jeep Compass from carhop In Tulsa, Oklahoma and I’m not really picky so I liked my Jeep. They changed the radio and tires for me. I should have gotten a diagnostic at first to see if anything major was wrong but I didn’t. I was expecting for them to keep up with their cars.

So back in March 2023 my 23 year old daughter purchased a car from them that is 15 years old and paying over $11,000... SMH. She’s young and this was her first car purchase so she is not aware of some of the process. But instead of them thoroughly explaining to her they sale her this car. And when I say everything wrong with this car EVERYTHING!!

I’ve been with Car hop since 2018, I haven’t had much issues with the company however I moved to Nebraska and I am not within 100 miles of any location. I'm trying to upgrade my vehicle but still don’t have the best credit so car hop is my only option. However since I’m more than 100 miles away from any location, I can’t get a different vehicle, and I’m screwed till my credit gets better. Car hop needs more locations for people who need vehicles that don’t have the best credit!

I bought a car at the end of 2022. Two splash guard was missing for the underneath. Within two days before Christmas a broke down. At first they tried saying that they wouldn’t cover under warranty Then later when I told him that I really had the car and didn’t even put 200 miles on it and it how are you broke then they fixed it. In February 2023 the engine blew when were still in the warranty and they had to fix it then. Then at the end of May the alternator went out. It’s still sitting because I don’t have money to fix it. This is the first and last car I am buying from this place. It is not worth the time or your money especially when they make you pay biweekly. A traditional dealership would only make you pay once a month or every two weeks.

I purchased a car from the Sioux Falls Carhop in July 2022. within a day my check engine light came on and it was my o2 sensor failing. Reported this to CarHop and was told " they don't fix this." within a week my rear brakes had to be replaced and again I was told, "they don't fix this that's a maintenance issue". The brakes were metal to metal.

Been threatened to have payment by 6pm when I made a payment previous Friday, representative is rude and unprofessional and will not work with me. Was told it would be further escalation. I have paid them twice this month already.
