Royal baby 2018: A surgeon has created a cream fit for the Duchess, who is pregnant

The next royal baby is due in April, and the Duchess of Cambridge is blooming during her final trimester.

As anyone who’s been through a pregnancy will know, stretch marks can make an appearance as the belly gets bigger.

But for those who dread the little growth lines, there is a new £25 miracle cure cream that could be fit for the Duchess.

Surgeons i Mr Douglas McGeorge and Dr Ardeshir Bayat created the Science of Skin Stretch Mark Defence cream.

Speaking to Express.co.uk Mr McGeorge said: “Stretch Marks Defence by Solution for Scars is a super hydrating moisturiser, designed to make your skin more pliable and prevent stretch marks.

“Stretch Mark Defence is packed full of active ingredients including green tea, vitamin E and super-hydrating plant extracts to help relieve the signs and symptoms of stretching skin – such as tightness, dryness and irritation.”

He explained that the cream’s unique formula contains plant derived phytochemicals, which has been shown scientifically and clinically to improve cutaneous healing and enhance the cosmetic appearance of scars.

McGeorge added: “Mothers should use it from the time that their ‘bump’ is starting to become noticeable through to delivery.

“The product can also be used all over the body – including tummy, thighs, breasts and hips, so new mums can also use it post pregnancy.”

He said: “Whilst the risks of developing stretch marks reduce after birth, Stretch Mark Defence is the perfect moisturiser to nourish and sooth skin, helping it to settle back.

“Any stretch marks that have occurred during pregnancy should continue to be treated with Solution for Stretch Marks, a clever combination of green tea extracts, highly moisturising natural ingredients and vitamins C and E, until all redness settles.”

Stretch Mark Defence is just £24.99 150ml and Solution for Stretch Marks is £39.99.
