Raymond Rorex
Raymond Wallace Rorex, 77, of Chattanooga went home to be with the Lord on November 2, 2019.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George Riley and Hettie Vaughn Rorex; brothers and sisters, Elvis; Milton; Luna; Mary Lois; Kenneth; Robert; George; Marie; Josephine; Dean; and a grandson, Bradley.
Left behind to cherish Raymond’s life are his wife of 34 years, Georgia Mae Rorex; a sister, Nancy Swearingin, daughter, Ramona Rorex Branham; son, Randall (Anna) Rorex; grandchildren, William McKinney; Ashley; Andrew; Abby; Tyler; Lexie; Joshua; Michelle; Shannon; Lora Beth; Amy; Cassie; and Phillip, 15 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews, and many dear friends.
A Celebration of Raymond’s Life will be held in the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home on Wednesday, Nov. 6, at 1 p.m.. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 4-8 p.m. He will be laid to rest in the Lakewood Memory Gardens East.
