Todd Snover, 74, died Thursday

A driver has died after a crash that happened earlier this month in Laurens County, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.Laurens County Coroner Patti Canupp said Todd Snover, 74, died Thursday from his injuries.The single-vehicle crash happened around 1:40 p.m. on Sept. 15 on Welcome Church Road near Whelon Road, Master Trooper Brandon Bolt said.The driver of a 2005 Chrysler van was heading north on Welcome Church Road when the van ran off the road and struck a tree, Bolt said.The driver was wearing a seat belted and was trapped in the wreckage, according to Bolt. The driver was taken to a hospital where they later died.The driver's name was not immediately released.The crash is still under investigation.
