Domestic violence, Lucille Avenue:
A 37-year-old resident was arrested for domestic violence after an incident at his home involving his nine-year-old son. The boy's mother said the incident occurred while the man had the child at the home during his visitation time.
Identity theft, South Green Road:
A resident came to the station Feb. 7 to report an unknown person filed a false tax return using her identity. Her return was flagged by the IRS and no funds had yet been dispersed.
Vandalism, Mayfield Road:
Officers responded to an alarm at the South Euclid Cafe around 1:45 a.m. Feb. 6 and found a front window had been smashed out with a paver stone. There were no suspects identified and nothing taken from the business.
Theft, Warrensville Center Road:
A Cleveland man, 41, was arrested after running from an off-duty officer at Walmart Feb. 6. He was charged with theft, criminal trespass and obstructing official business. The total value of the theft was $185.
Harassment, Warrensville Center Road:
A Panda Express employee said Feb. 7 a co-worker's boyfriend came into the restaurant and made several threats that made the staff feel unsafe. The incident was documented.
Theft, Warrensville Center Road:
A Cleveland man, 38, was arrested Feb. 7 for the theft of $275 worth of merchandise from TJ Maxx. He was found to have several warrants for his arrest.
Theft, South Green Road:
The owner of a plumbing supply business reported Feb. 7 several toilet parts and connector valves had been stolen by a customer. The exact details of the theft were unknown.
Theft, Warrensville Center Road:
A shoplifter struggled with an off-duty officer in the Walmart parking lot Feb. 8 and was subsequently arrested for theft and obstructing official business. The Cleveland woman, 47, also had an active warrant in the city.
Theft, Cedar Road:
A man reported Feb. 9 his vehicle and house keys were stolen from his locker at Planet Fitness.
Theft, Warrensville Center Road:
Officers responded to Walmart Feb. 9 for a report of a group of youths stealing two bicycles, a hover board and a bike lock. Six of them were taken into custody outside the store after they fled from loss prevention workers. They were subsequently released to a guardian.
Theft, Warrensville Center Road:
A Walmart employee stole $60 from a co-worker at the store Feb. 10. The South Euclid man, 18, was terminated by management and cited for theft.
Fraud, Cedar Road:
The owner of a jewelry business reported Feb. 11 a customer stopped payment on a check, and he is now out of money.
Theft, Warrensville Center Road:
A shoplifter fled from Walmart Feb. 11 after stealing $450 worth of merchandise. Employees were able to obtain the license plate number of the suspect's vehicle and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
