The Florida Gators have sent many players to the National Football League, but only two - per NFL Communications, via Twitter - have won Player of the Week honors at least four times.

New York Jets quarterback Sam Darnold (14) is knocked to the ground by Cincinnati Bengals defensive end Carlos Dunlap (96) in the first quarter of the NFL Week 13 game between the Cincinnati Bengals and the New York Jets at Paul Brown Stadium in downtown Cincinnati on Sunday, Dec. 1, 2019. The Bengals led 17-6 at halftime.

Cincinnati Bengals defensive end Carlos Dunlap was named the AFC Defensive Player of the Week for Week 13, joining Pro Football Hall of Fame running back Emmitt Smith as former Gators to be awarded POTW four or more times.

Dunlap, who has played for the Bengals since they drafted him out of Florida in the second round in 2010, had three sacks and six quarterback hits in the Bengals' first win of the season, a 22-6 victory against the New York Jets at Paul Brown Stadium.
