Moeschl, Melissa Black was born Carol Melissa Black on September 21st, 1955 in Atlanta, Georgia. With her mother Sarah (Sally) and sisters Linda and Susan, Melissa moved to Clearwater, FL at age 7, and graduated from Clearwater High School in 1973. Melissa married Stan in 1977 in Largo, FL, and graduated from Curry College, Milton, MA with a degree in Nursing in 1981. She raised her three children with unwavering love in Boston, MA, Eden Prairie and Maple Grove, MN, and worked as a registered nurse in Pediatric Bone Marrow Transplant, Emergency, Orthopedics, and other specialties. Melissa retired in 2014 and battled complications from Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Deficiency throughout her later life. Melissa passed peacefully on November 5th, 2020, and is survived by Stan Moeschl, her devoted husband of over 42 years, children Joshua (Lynsie) Moeschl and their children Zooey and Benjamin, Kevin (Kelsey) Moeschl, Sarah (Neil) Wise, and sisters Linda Casher and Susan Velazquez. Melissa was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, and person who will be deeply missed by those who knew her. An online memorial to celebrate Melissa's life will be held on Sunday, November 15th, 2020 at 1 pm CT.
