ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Fla. (WKRG) — UPDATE 11-14 7:25 am:
The Florida Highway Patrol has identified Desiree Mattair of Cantonment as the victim of fatal crash on Tuesday evening. Mattair died when the car she was driving crossed the centerline and hit another car head-on.
The Highway Patrol is still investigating the crash.

The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal accident in Escambia County Tuesday evening.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol website’s live feed, the accident happened around 6:30 p.m. at Tower Drive and North Palafox Street.
News 5’s crew arrived on scene at 10:30 p.m. where law enforcement still at the street blocked for the investigation.
No word on if anyone else was injured in the crash.
