The state Health Department reported 577 new cases of the coronavirus Sunday.
There have been 95,266 infections statewide since the start of the pandemic.
Deaths
Overall: Seven new deaths brings the total to 6,904.
Hospitalizations
652 people were hospitalized Sunday afternoon, compared with 646 the day before. Of those, 91 were on ventilators.
Lehigh Valley
Cases: 14 new cases (six in Lehigh County, eight in Northampton County). That brings the total to 7,984.
Deaths: Two new deaths (two in Lehigh County, zero in Northampton County). That brings the total to 605.
The Lehigh Valley numbers are the lowest since July 6, though numbers are generally lower on weekends because some commercial labs haven’t reported their results.
