DeSantis Appoints PGT Innovations Board Chair to Florida Building Commission
Gov. Ron DeSantis this week announced the appointment of PGT Innovations board chair Rod Hershberger to the Florida Building Commission. Hershberger co-founded Venice-based window and door manufacturer PGT Innovations (formerly PGT Industries, Inc.) and retired as chief executive officer in 2017. He is currently chair of the Gulf Coast Community Foundation's board of directors, serves on the board of directors of the Argus Foundation, and was previously on the board of the Economic Development Corporation of Sarasota and the Sarasota YMCA.
In addition to Hershberger, DeSantis also appointed W. Grey Marker II of Ft. Lauderdale, James Schock of St. Augustine, David John of Tarpon Springs, Michael Bourré of Fleming Island and Paul Jones of Jacksonville to the commission.
