A man not wearing his seatbelt while driving has landed up in an Eastern Carolina jail.

Pine Knoll Shores police say this morning they stopped a vehicle when the driver was not buckled up.

They discovered that Dennis Cunningham was wanted in Georgia for two felonies. The 26-year-old from Sardis, Georgia was arrested on the outstanding warrants for felony larceny, and felony obtaining property by a false pretense.

Cunningham was jailed on a $25,000 bond and awaits his return to Georgia to face his charges.

Pine Knoll Shores police also handed the man a citation to failing to wear a seatbelt.
