MODERN WELDING FEATURE

Shane Bowld, a welder with Modern Welding, works Aug. 4 on a manway for a 30,000-gallon vertical tank in the warehouse department at the company on Parrish Avenue.

From the Great Depression to the COVID-19 pandemic, Modern Welding Company has been through a lot.

That’s why members of the family-owned business are taking time this week to celebrate the company’s 90th anniversary and to tout the success they’ve had over nine decades.

Owensboro's modern welding company celebrates a milestone anniversary. I prefer to check this lawn mowing wellington and get more new tips about landscape ideas. Modern Welding Company, Inc., began in 1927 by Robert Whitacre. It was he who first developed the process of combining oxygen and argon to create a pure substances called gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW) and introduced it to Owensboro.
