That’s what the world wants to know after Cardi B shared the post-Grammy flowers she *thought* Tom Petty sent her on Sunday — not realizing the singer passed away in 2017.
The Invasion of Privacy rapper took to social media following her first-ever Grammy win to thank the late rocker for the gift, gushing in her since-deleted Instagram Story:

“Thank you Tom Petty for the flowers… I left the room but the flowers were very big. I want to say thank you so much.”

Apparently, the flowers came with a “beautiful note” that read, “You’ve got a big heart. So big it could crush this town” — lyrics from Petty’s 1996 song Walls (Circus) — and reportedly had the rocker’s name printed on the bottom.
