3A District 7

Larned (3-2, 2-0) at Nickerson (2-3, 1-1)

A Larned victory assures the Indians of a 3A playoff berth with Kingman (1-4) and Hugoton (1-4) left on the schedule.

Larned WR Brock Skelton caught three TD passes for 149 yards, Mason Perez scored twice and gained 135 yards and QB

Dillan Smith threw for 185 yards in a 32-21 victory over Holcomb. Larned’s big-play offenese features superior speed.

Nickerson’s Noah Salazar is the Panthers’ chief offensive threat and QB Tre Garcia directs the Panthers’ run-oriented attack.

2A District 8

Minneapolis (2-3, 0-2) at Hoisington (5-0, 2-0)

2A District 7

Ellinwood (2-3, 0-2) at Sterling (2-3, 1-1)

Sterling QB Brady Myers (612 yards, 7 TDs) and RB Alan Anderson (348 yards, 3 TDs) direct a run-oriented offense, but the Black Bears exposed Ellinwood’s pass defense last year.

St. John (0-5, 0-2) at Moundridge (1-4, 0-2)

Both teams come off lopsided losses. Macksville routed Moundridge 48-14 and Central Plains handled St. John 48-0. St. John’s Caden McCandless rushed for yards and QB Marco Ibarra passed for 36 yards last week.

8-Man2 District 8

Non District
