Michigan reports 1,054 new cases of coronavirus, 11 deaths Wednesday
Michigan has lost 11 more people to the novel coronavirus and 1,054 more people have tested positive for COVID-19, according to the Wednesday update from the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services.
The state's totals are now 6,762 confirmed deaths and 124,687 confirmed cases.

Michigan has a slightly decreasing fatality rate of 5.4% among known cases.
The state has a positivity rate of 3.22%, reporting 952 out of 29,527 diagnostic test results returned Sunday were positive.
The state has reported 321 probable COVID-19 deaths and 13,327 probable cases.
The probable cases combined with the confirmed cases make for a cumulative total of 7,083 deaths and 138,014 cases.
