Both versions of the COVID-19 vaccine require two doses to protect against the novel coronavirus — a priming shot and a booster shot.

The injections are spaced three or four weeks apart, depending on which you get: The wait is three weeks for Pfizer/BioNTech and four weeks for Moderna.
