Sip and Savor: A Wine, Food and Music Experience (Durham Performing Arts Center, 123 Vivian St., Durham) - More than 30 of the Triangle's finest restaurants will be paired with world-class wines at this third annual event on Sunday at Durham Performing Arts Center.
Bull Moon Rising in Downtown Durham (CCB Plaza, 201 Corcoran St., Durham) - For the first time in North Carolina, a giant breathtaking spherical replica of the moon - with a diameter of nearly 23 feet - will hang above CCB Plaza for four days. Note: High winds have caused the moon to be temporarily de-installed and activities to be canceled on Thursday. The remaining events are currently scheduled to go on as planned.
Moon Ball in Downtown Durham (Unscripted Hotel , 202 Corcoran Street, Durham) - Hosted at Unscripted Durham, this upscale evening includes music, dancing, specialty cocktails, beer, wine and hors d'oeuvres - all under the incredible light of the "Museum of the Moon" above CCB Plaza on Friday night.
A Nightmare on Academy Street (Cotton House Craft Brewers , 307 Academy St., Cary) - Cotton House Craft Brewers hosts this Halloween party complete with fire performances and Cousins Maine Lobster on Friday night.
4th Annual MIX 101.5 Great Pumpkin Smash (Three Bears Acres, 711 Beaver Dam Rd, Creedmoor) - Bring your leftover pumpkins and smash them at Three Bears Acres in Creedmoor on Saturday.
Durham Food Truck Rodeo (Durham Central Park, 502 Foster St., Durham) - Sunday's rodeo is the last of the season. Enjoy drinks, food, desserts and more.
Fall Oyster Roast (Mandolin Farm, 13528 Durant Road, Raleigh) - Mandolin Farm is hosting this traditional North Carolina Oyster Roast on Sunday in Raleigh. Tickets are $65 per person.

Day of the Dead bar crawl (The Anchor Bar , 207 Fayetteville Street, Raleigh) - This crawl will explore downtown Raleigh and Glenwood South on Saturday afternoon.

12th Annual Boogeyman Bar Crawl (Glenwood South, Raleigh) - This crawl kicks off at PLUS Dueling Piano Bar on Saturday night and hits up other bars at Glenwood South.
