SAN ANGELO — Since the evening of Feb. 8, San Angelo has been dealing with a water crisis that started with the entire city being without viable water.

The city has identified benzene, acetone and naphthalene as the contaminants in San Angelo's water and believes the contamination is tied to a backflow problem at an industrial site, an issue that remains under investigation.
