Naji Al Samahiji and Ahmed Omran claimed the title in the Late Yousif Khalil Al Moayyed Ramadan Doubles Tournament at Bahrain Tennis Club (BTC) in Juffair.
The duo, who finished second last year, defeated Emmanuel Bishay and Farouk Soliman 6-1, 6-2.
The champions dominated the game and looked to be the better side in terms of fitness while Soliman, who was injured during a training session, struggled right through the match.
The game was attended by board of directors of YK Al Moayyed and Sons Co and BTC officials.
The winner’s trophy was presented by chairman of YK Al Moayyed and Sons Co Farouk Al Moayyed.
Also present were Dr Faisal Al Mosawi and former president of BTC Yousif Haidar, Dr Fouad Shehad and board members of the club Mirza Al Sammak, Dr Hussein Al Makhraq and Khaled Ghuloom.
President of BTC Khamis Al Muqla thanked all the sponsors for the success of the tournament for the 20th year in a row.
He also stated that Al Moayyed was one of the oldest members and biggest supporters to the club.
