New Lenox Waives 2021 Liquor License Fees For Bars, Restaurants

The village also waived 2021 business registration fees for all businesses.

NEW LENOX, IL — The New Lenox Village Board has approved waiving 2021 liquor license fees for bars and restaurants and 2021 business registration for all businesses in the village.

Mayor Tim Baldermann said liquor license fees range from $1,000 to $3,000, depending on the type of license.

"Going on last year's numbers, we're probably looking at $55,000 somewhere in that neighborhood is what this would cost us by not collecting that," Baldermann said.

According to board documents, bars and restaurants which would have the liquor license fee waived for 2021 include: 3 Corners, AMC Theater, American Legion, Arrowhead Alehouse, Badda Bings, Beggar's Pizza, Board & Brush, Buffalo Wild Wings, Bulldog Alehouse, Chicago Dough, Chili's Bar and Grill, Chipotle, Cooper's Hawk, Gatto's, Hickory Creek Brewing Company, Joey's Red Hots, Laraway Lanes, Little Joe's, Mattina Cafe, MOD Pizza, Mo's Chinese Kitchen, New Lenox Park District Sanctuary, New Lenox Park District, Paisano's, Pico De Gallo, Portillo's, Rising Sun, Teardrop Cafe, Tom Kelly's Chophouse, VFW Post 9545, White Horse, Williamson's and Zin Club.

Baldermann said business registration fees are only $25 or $50 dollars, and this would be waived for all businesses.
