State announces next round of COVID-19 vaccination clinics; most to use waitlists

CHARLESTON, W.Va. — There will be COVID-19 vaccination clinics in 17 counties this week and all but a few will use existing waitlists to schedule appointments for those 65 and older.

The Justice administration announced the clinics Monday that will be part of the Operation Save Our Wisdom. They will begin Wednesday.

The clinics will take place in Berkeley, Braxton, Brooke, Cabell, Greenbrier, Hancock, Harrison, Hardy, Kanawha, Logan, Marshall, Mercer, Monongalia, Pocahontas, Raleigh, Randolph, and Wyoming counties.

West Virginians can now pre-register for a COVID-19 vaccine through the West Virginia COVID-19 Vaccine Registration System at vaccinate.wv.gov
