Princeton U. To Host Additional Public COVID Vaccine Clinics

The university is collaborating with local and state officials to ensure more people get the COVID-19 vaccine.

PRINCETON, NJ – Although a number of COVID-19 vaccine clinics are underway at Princeton University, the institution has now added more dates for the public to get vaccinated.

The university is collaborating with local and state officials to reach more people and ensure they receive the COVID-19 vaccine.

Here are the additional dates and times for the clinic:

  • May 14, 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
  • May 18, 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.
  • May 19, 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.
  • May 21, 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.

June

The Pfizer vaccine is being offered at all clinics, which will be held at Jadwin Gym.

On Saturday, the university will hold a clinic from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Caldwell Fieldhouse to distribute 40 doses of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine.

No appointment is needed. The clinic is open to walk-ins from the public and is being held in partnership with the Princeton Department of Health.

Princeton University also said they were prepared to vaccinate 12-to-15-year-old once they are eligible under the state.

The Princeton Health Department is doing major outreach to ensure residents and those who work in the township are vaccinated.

According to recent data released from the New Jersey Department of Health, 47 percent of Princeton residents are now vaccinated.

The vaccination rate among seniors is higher, with 86 percent of residents aged 65-and-older being vaccinated.
