CDOT Announces Events And Road Closures For June 12-16

Chattanooga Department of Transportation announces the following events and closures:

Wednesday, June 12

CFC Soccer Match - Reggie White Boulevard will be closed from the entrance to the pavilion parking lot to W 19th Street from 5 p.m.-midnight on Wednesday, June 12. Additionally, the on-street parking on Chestnut Street, between W 17th St and W 19th St will be closed from 5 p.m.-midnight.

 

Thursdays, June 13

Ales on 8th - Ales on 8th has moved to Thursdays in the West Village; W 8th Street between Pine Street and Chestnut Street will be closed on Thursday, June 13 from 2-11 p.m. This closure will be in effect each Thursday evening through Feb, 27, 2020.     

 

Chattery Series in the Passageways: Inappropriate Tea Party  - Cooper's Alley (Passageways 2.0 alley) will be closed to vehicular traffic on Thursday, June 13 from 6-8 p.m. for a beginner friendly paint class hosted by The Chattery.

 

First Thursdays on Station Street - June Edition - Station Street, from Market St to Brinks Security, will be closed for the rescheduled First Thursdays at the Choo Choo on Thursday, June 13 from 5 p.m.-midnight. This closure will be in effect on the first Thursday of each month through Oct. 3, weather permitting. 

 

Friday, June 14

Nightfall - Cherry Street will be closed at E MLK Blvd from 3 p.m.-midnight for Nightfall setup. Market Street will be closed from East 8th Street to East 10th Street, and ML King Blvd will be closed from Broad Street to Georgia Avenue from 5:30 p.m.-midnight for Nightfall. These closures will be in effect each Friday night through Aug. 30.

 

Saturday, June 15

West Village Street Festivals -  Pine Street between W 7th Street (south of the the Republic Parking lot) and W M.L. King Blvd, and W 8th Street between Pine Street and Chestnut Street will be closed from 8 a.m.-midnight each Saturday through Dec. 27.

Silent Disco Series in the Passageways - Cooper's Alley (Passageways 2.0 alley) will be closed to vehicular traffic on Saturday, June 16 from 6:30 p.m.-12:30 a.m. for a silent disco party.

NOMCON Reception on Station Street - Station Street, from Market to Brinks Security, will be closed for the Nation of Makers reception on Saturday, June 15 from 5-10 p.m. 

Wedding Reception - Fort Street will be closed between W 13th and W 14th on Saturday, June 15 from 5 p.m.-midnight for a wedding reception.

 

Sunday, June 16

Chattanooga Market - Reggie White Boulevard will be closed from the entrance to the pavilion parking lot to W 19th Street from 6 a.m.-8 p.m. each Sunday through Nov. 24.
