Christopher W. Kulaga, 66, lifelong resident of Stonington, CT died Saturday, June 11, 2022 following a long illness.

Born in New London, CT he was the son of the late Catherine (Lord) Kulaga.

Chris was employed with Dow Chemical Co. as Operations Supervisor retiring in 2010.

Christopher's favorite pastime was holding family picnics though out the summer season. His motto was “There is never too much food” and everyone was welcome. Chris was also a “Soupy Master” making some of the best and hottest soppressata in the area.

He is survived by his sister, Melanie Fritz of Pawcatuck, CT; his brother, Mark Kulaga and his wife Dorothy, of Thompson and Stonington, CT

and numerous cousins. He was predeceased by his brother-in-law, Gary Fritz.

A graveside service for Chris will be held Saturday, June 18th at 9:00 am at the Elm Grove Cemetery on Route 27 in Mystic, followed by a

picnic with family and friends in his honor, at Melanie’s home in Pawcatuck.
