Apple Computer co-founder speaks on Feb. 2 at World Affairs Council event at UNF

Apple Computer co-founder Steve Wozniak is the guest speaker at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 2, at the World Affairs Council of Jacksonville's next Presidential Lecture Series at University of North Florida arena at 11852 University of North Florida Drive.

The Silicon Valley icon will discuss "Innovation and Creativity: Pioneering Work with Apple and the Future of Information Technology" at the lecture, supported by the UNF Foundation and co-hosted by the World Affairs Council of Jacksonville's Global Issues Evenings.

In 1976, Wozniak and Steve Jobs founded Apple Computer, then introduced his Apple II personal computer the next year. Wozniak currently serves as chief scientist for Fusion-IO and wrote his autobiography, "iWoz: From Computer Geek to Cult Icon."
