Texas Navy Contractor Must Face Suit From Deadly Helicopter Crash

Texas private contractor M1 Support Services LP must defend claims of neglect and failure to repair damage in a case arising from a helicopter crash that killed three people and seriously injured two others during a Navy training exercise, the Texas Supreme Court said Friday.

A Navy MH-53E helicopter caught fire and crashed into the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of Virginia in 2014, killing Lt. J. Wesley Van Dorn, Lt. Sean Snyder, and Petty Officer 3rd Class Brian Collins.
