It's finally patio season. Here's where you can catch a bite or drink outside in your neighborhood.
It has been a long winter in Wisconsin this year. After being cooped up for a while, it is finally time to get outside.
Some area bars, restaurants and coffee shops are finally seating outside. It's a little early in the season yet, so not every patio is open, but if you just simply can't wait any longer here's a patio in your neighborhood that is ready for you,
Here is a list of open patios in neighborhoods from north to south.
North suburbs - The Cheel/ Baaree
The Cheel, serving Nepalese, Burmese and Tibetan food in Thiensville, is allowing customers to sit outside in a patio connected to the restaurant. That's until its real patio opens May 7.
The Baaree beer garden, Nepalese for garden, is a large fenced patio next door to the Cheel. The beer garden, which opened in 2018, has its own bar and kitchen for outdoor diners.
105 S. Main St., Thiensville
Hours: Monday, 4 to 10 p.m.; Tuesday-Thursday, 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.; Friday-Saturday, 11:30 a.m. to close

Grab a drink inside before heading outside, or a cocktail waitress will bring one to you.
If it's cold, but you still want to spend time outdoors, take a seat next to the fireplace.

The outdoor terrace is open year-round thanks to fire pits, but probably hasn't gotten much attention lately. Now that its nice out, take the chance to head outside. On colder days, take advantage of the weather enclosures that will stay in place until May 3.
