Linda Spivey
Linda Jean Spivey, 69, of Soddy Daisy, died on Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at her home.
Linda retired from Roper Corporation after many years of service. She was a member of Calvary Independent Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her father, Seslar Hensley; mother, Lillie McIntosh and son, Gordon Hensley.
She is survived by her son, Rocky Hollifield of Asheville, N.C.; daughters, Terisa Allen of Soddy Daisy and Shelly Potter of Hixson; sister, Billie Mason of Weaverville, N.C.; grandchildren, Keith Ward, Stephanie Hensley, Lindsay Sexton, Johnathan Potter, Matthew and Aiden Allen, Casey and Kimsey Hollifield and eight great-grandchildren.
Graveside services and interment will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, April 12, with Reverend Don Kelley officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tn. 38105.
