Ness, Rodger H. Born Jan. 9, 1935 in Fargo, ND, passed on March 27 at the age of 86 due to complications from Alzheimer's disease. He grew up in Wolverton, MN, had recently lived in Roseville, MN but lived in St. Anthony, MN for 44 years. Rodger received a B.S. from NDSU in Electrical Engineering and later a Master's degree from UMN in Electrical Engineering. For all of his 34 year career, he was a computer engineer building mainframe and navigation systems for Unisys. Rodger enjoyed home improvement projects as well as spending time outdoors skiing, bicycling, camping, and gardening. He was a member of Nativity Lutheran Church for many years and loved singing in the choir and playing with a brass ensemble. Preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Inga Ness; sisters, Eunice Selid and Irene (Duane) Fossum. Survived by his wife of 56 years, Barbara J. Ness; his sons David (Corinne), Eric (Shannon), Peter (Carin); and grandchildren, Max and Marty Ness and Peter, Abi and Fitz Freeby. Private family grave site service will be held.
