The breadth of Western Dental & Orthodontics’ network is matched by a long history — one that began in Southern California. In 1903, founder Dr. Curtis Beauchamp opened his first office in Los Angeles, according to the company’s website.

This comprehensive approach means people “can get all of the services they might need at one provider,” Halldin said. In Orange County, residents have access to 10 of the company’s affiliated offices, Halldin said.
Statewide, there are 228 locations. The company also is the No. 1 provider of services for adults and children in the Medi-Cal Dental Program.
The combined services of Western Dental’s affiliated offices in Orange County cover needs as varied as emergency dental care, implants, general dentistry, root canals and orthodontics. Locations are in a variety of cities, including Anaheim, Garden Grove, Santa Ana, Irvine and Costa Mesa.

The Costa Mesa-based dental practice features a team of two clinicians, Drs. Koroush Bassiri and Parisa Behroozi, according to its website. California schools — including two Orange County campuses — were a consistent theme for the two dentists’ education (Cal State Fullerton and University of the Pacific’s dental school for Bassiri, and UC Irvine and USC’s dental school for Behroozi).

Patients who visit SC Dental Care find a practice that has close proximity to Interstate 5, as well as restaurants and stores in Laguna Hills.
Led by a team of four clinicians, SC Dental Care provides general and cosmetic dentistry, and is “a mercury-free practice,” according to its website. Listed services range from dental sealants, to dental implants, to dentures.
The practice also offers teeth whitening and Invisalign treatment, a series of clear aligners that enables gradual straightening of a patient’s teeth. To aid in patients’ treatment, the practice uses digital imaging. According to 2012 guidelines published by the American Dental Association and the FDA, digital imaging reduces radiation exposure.
