A Commitment to Sustainability
The Common Council adopted clean energy goals to reduce municipal emissions to 50% of 2010 levels by 2030, in line with global goals, source at least 25% of all energy from local renewable sources by 2025, and achieve municipal and community carbon neutrality by 2050. We will track our progress and publish energy use annually. See other sustainability initiatives by the city.
