Longmont-based Bethlehem Lutheran Church announced on Thursday it has started a free-standing pantry for residents.

“The Pratt St. Little Free Pantry facilitates community,” pantry administrator Chili Chullino wrote. “Regardless of religion, race, or economic status the Pratt St. Little Free Pantry is for you. You are invited to visit the pantry to take what you need or leave what can.”

Chullino also stated that it’s not necessary to be a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church to be an anonymous donor or participant.

The free-standing pantry sits on the east side of the 1500 block of Pratt Street and is already open, with visitors invited to stop by. For residents wishing to donate to the pantry, Chullino stated there is a list of requested items at the pantry site.

The panty is “open to everyone in the community and offers a new way for neighbors to care for neighbors with anonymity without judgement,” Chullino said.
