Kids Need MoRE & Restoration Kitchen Celebrate

"We Do MoRE because for some KiDS there is only this moment to make the best memory of a lifetime." Melissa Firmes, Director KNM

Kids Need MoRE, a local charity dedicated to enhancing the lives of children and families coping with cancer joined forces with Restoration Kitchen to raise funds for camp and much needed services for kids and families facing life-threatening illnesses. Kids Need MoRE builds a community of support and hope through peer mentoring, friendly visits, camp experiences, retreats and day events. The owners and staff at Restoration Kitchen in Lindy shared the Kids Need MoRE vision last quarter and sponsored the organization at their restaurant located on Hoffman Avenue in Lindenhurst, NY. On January 21, 2020 the owners of Restoration Kitchen presented a check for over 15 thousand dollars to the Director of Kids Need MoRE, Melissa Firmes, surrounded by board members, friends and family! This partnership proves that the vision of joy, fun and the healing of friendship empowers us all to do more, be more and give more!

You can support local organizations by visiting Restoration Kitchen located on Hoffman Avenue in Lindenhurst next to the Post Office and find out more about volunteer and donor options at the Kids Need MoRE website. www.kidsneedmore.org

Sincere thanks to all the patrons who visit Restoration Kitchen to support local charities and businesses creating a more vibrant Lindy for all!
