Hachette UK imprint Wren & Rook is releasing a photo book from Grammy-winning singer and songwriter Billie Eilish.
Publishing in tandem with Grand Central Publishing in the US, the book, titled Billie Eilish, will be released in hardcover and e-book, with an audio companion, on 11th May 2021.
Laura Horsley, senior commissioning editor at Wren & Rook, and Gretchen Young, vice-president executive editor at GCP (USA & Canada), acquired world rights from Alyssa Reuben at Paradigm.
The book will be the 19-year-old recording artist's first and is billed as "a stunning visual narrative journey through her life".Curated by Eilish herself, it will include hundreds of photos, promising to "capture the essence of Billie inside and out" offering glimpses into her childhood as well as her life on tour. Publishing simultaneously with the book is a standalone audiobook in which Eilish reflects on her life, from the early years to her breakout success and including memories shared by her parents.
Eilish said: "I spent many hours over many months poring through my family albums and archives, handpicking all of the photos in this book. I hope you love it as much as I do."
