Pauline V. Feldhaus

Richmond - Pauline V. Feldhaus, 102, of Richmond passed away December 3, 2017. She was born on December 1, 1915 in Perkinsville, NY to Charles and Otillia Zimmer. She moved to Richmond in 1934 and worked at Muir Drugs as a licensed cosmetician. She married Paul Feldhaus in 1941 and had five children. A member of St. Andrew Catholic Church, she served as a religious educator and Eucharistic minister. She was a salesperson and branch manager for Nobility Prestige. The Treaty Line Council of Girl Scouts honored her for 50 years of service. She was decorated by the Archbishop with the St. Anne medal, the highest adult Catholic scouting award with her Marian Award recipients. She was an 83-year member and past regent of the Daughters of Isabella. She served as vice president of the St. Anne Altar Society and was a member of the Carmelites. She enjoyed playing cards with her family and friends and was a 60-year member of a bridge club.

Pauline was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Feldhaus. Survivors include son, John Feldhaus from Richmond; daughters, Pam Feldhaus Mills of Richmond, Joyce Eubanks of Indianapolis, Mary Feldhaus of Nashua, NH, and Cecilia Melcher of Delmar, NY; sister Bea Jessen of La Mesa, CA; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Liturgy of Christian burial will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday December 9, 2017 at St. Andrew Church. Father John Luerman will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Andrew Cemetery. Friends may call from 11:30 A.M. to 1:30 P.M. on Saturday December 9, 2017 at Riggle-Waltermann Mortuary.
