You may be super psyched for Holi, but your skin and hair definitely aren't. Rubbing all that colour (and whatever else you throw at each other) on your face and head can lead to some serious skin and hair damage. If you're using stronger colours instead of herbal ones, it may remain in pockets of your scalp and skin for a long time, despite the number of times you try to scrub it away. So, if you're planning on playing Holi with colours, it's important that you have a thorough pre and post grooming routine to ensure minimal damage.

Make sure you take extra special care of your skin the night before, and for the days following the event. It is also helpful to oil your hair and facial hair and moisturize your face right before you go out - so that the colour washes right off when you take a bath afterwards.
