Knocked It Out Of the Park

There's a scene in movie history that the world's most famous musical couple, Beyonce and Jay-Z, both love, and it's probably not what you would expect.

The Best Movie About Getting Knocked Up

Their favorite scene comes from their favorite movie: Knocked Up. This just seems so far off-base, and that's what makes it so cute and real.

The secret was revealed in March, when Knocked Up writer, co-producer and director Judd Apatow appeared on "Late Night With Conan O'Brien" to talk about his experience meeting the couple for the first time.

If you're like any Beyonce, Jay-Z, or Judd Apatow fan, you'll want to listen up good. Apparently Apatow had no idea that the two were so into Knocked Up, but the story only gets better from there.

Apatow told O'Brien that while he was at a VIP event during their dual concert tour, Jay-Z went straight up to him and told him about how much they loved the movie.

“Jay-Z walks in the room, and he walks straight to me. And he goes ‘Oh my God, Knocked Up! That scene where your wife goes 'Doorman, doorman, doorman!' That’s my favorite scene of all time!’ ” said Apatow.

One Lucky Guy

Apatow then said Jay-Z told him he had to stick around, because if Beyonce didn't get to meet him -- since she was also a fan of Knocked Up -- then she would be mad at him (at Jay-Z, not Apatow.)

Of course Apatow's not gonna move an inch, even if Beyonce wasn't going to come over.

He says while he was nervous about meeting her, she was just as excited to see him. That must have been a huge relief.

You Gotta Feel For Craig Robinson In This Scene

Who took away Apatow's thunder was producer director and actor Jon Favreau. Apatow says Favreau was at the VIP event too.

He started talking with Beyonce, and basically never stopped talking with her, effectively stealing her away from him.

Favreau!

Anyway, here's the scene -- it is a good one.
