A picturesque patch of green space in Bar Harbor, Maine, is well worth exploring this fall, according to USA Today.

The publication named Village Green in Bar Harbor among 10 charming town squares to visit during the fall. It was the only New England spot on the list.

“This idyllic green space in Bar Harbor, Maine, features everything you’d want from a public square: a historic town clock, plentiful benches, a whimsical gazebo and even a bronze fountain for making wishes,” wrote USA Today. “What’s more, there are plenty of delightful small businesses surrounding it, from ice cream parlors to pottery stores. Additionally, Village Green serves as a starting point for a day trip into nearby Acadia National Park, thanks to the park’s shuttle service.”
