Postmates Begins Delivering LAFC Gear to Fans in Los Angeles

MLS club Los Angeles FC is letting fans buy team merchandise on Postmates to be delivered on-demand to their doorstep. The new feature is exclusively available to fans located in Los Angeles.

The LAFC merchandise store will be added to the recently launched shopping experience tab inside Postmates’ mobile app, which is predominantly used as a food delivery service. Available LAFC goods will include team-branded jerseys, scarves and hoodies.

In 2019, the Los Angeles Dodgers became the first sports team to let fans inside Dodger Stadium use the Postmates app to order food and drink from in-venue concessions. Postmates has since expanded its mobile food delivery service into Yankee Stadium.

“This is an exciting time to be an LAFC supporter and Postmates’ customer as, collectively, we expand our respective reach into new and exciting areas,” Mike Buckley, SVP of business at Postmates, said in a statement.
