Recall: Sushi with cooked butterfly shrimp sold in NC grocery stores, cafeterias
Cooked Butterfly Tail-On Shrimp Sushi (Sushi Ebi) from sushi counters sold at grocery stores and cafeterias in many states, including North Carolina, has been recalled due to possible Vibrio bacterium contamination. Vibrio can cause nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, fever and chills.

The recalled product was sold at grocery stores, cafeterias, and corporate dining centers and has a sell by dates of ranging from 02/19/2020 to 03/13/2020.
The recalled shrimp was distributed to multiple states including: AK, AL, AR, AZ, CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, IA, AD, IL, IN, KS, KY, LA, MA, MD, MI, MN, MO, MT, NC, ND, NE, NH, NM, NY, OH, OR, PA, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, WV, WY.
Their recall indicates that there are no confirmed illnesses, at this time.
If you have any AFC product containing Cooked Butterfly Tail-On Whiteleg Shrimp throw it away or return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.
