OAKLAND COUNTY, MI — More than 3,700 people have tested positive for the new coronavirus in Oakland County as of late Tuesday afternoon, according to data provided by the county's health department.

The health department recently began tracking the number of coronavirus cases in its county based on zip code. That information, as of Tuesday afternoon, is listed below. There have been 3,778 total cases reported in Oakland County, with 211 deaths.

The data is updated daily, but the health department maintains that the data is not a complete picture of community exposure, since it only reflects actual test results and testing capacity has been limited.

Zip code 48237, which includes Oak Park, Michigan, currently has the highest number of coronavirus cases in Oakland County with 287 reported cases. Twenty people from zip code 48076, which includes Southfield, Michigan, have died. That is the highest total in Oakland County.
