Fulton County Coronavirus Update: 2,763 Cases, 108 Deaths

FULTON COUNTY, GA – There are a total of 2,763 confirmed coronavirus cases in Fulton County as of Wednesday at noon, according to the Georgia Department of Health.

There have been a total of 108 coronavirus-related deaths in the county as of Wednesday, with 509 hospitalizations. According to the data, there are approximately 251 cases per every 100,000 people in the county.

The Georgia Department of Community Health has also released a report showing the number of COVID-19 cases in nursing homes and long-term care facilities in the county. COVID-19 is the disease caused by the new coronavirus. The reported cases at Fulton County nursing homes are as follows:

  • The A.G. Rhodes Home, Inc.: 6 confirmed staff cases

  • Addington Place of Alpharetta: 1 confirmed resident case

  • Addington Place of Johns Creek: 1 confirmed resident case; 3 confirmed staff cases

  • Alto Senior Living Buckhead: 17 confirmed resident cases; 10 confirmed staff cases; 5 resident deaths

  • Arbor Terrace at Cascade: 52 confirmed resident cases; 35 confirmed staff cases; 16 resident deaths

  • Bonterra Transitional Care & Rehabilitation: 4 confirmed resident cases; 4 confirmed staff cases; 1 resident death

  • Christian City Rehabilitation Center: 45 confirmed resident deaths; 10 confirmed staff cases; 3 resident deaths

  • Crestview Health & Rehab Center: 1 confirmed resident case; 3 confirmed staff cases

  • Crossings at Webb Bridge Road: 1 confirmed resident case; 1 resident death

  • Fairburn Health Care Center: 8 confirmed resident cases; 2 confirmed staff cases; 1 resident death

  • Fulton Center for Rehabilitation LLC: 1 staff case; 1 resident death

  • Healthcare at College Park, LLC: 1 confirmed resident case; 4 confirmed staff cases

  • Historic Roswell Place Assisted Living & Memory: 1 confirmed staff case

  • Legacy Transitional Care & Rehabilitation: 104 confirmed resident cases; 19 confirmed staff cases; 3 resident deaths

  • Nurse Care of Buckhead: 12 confirmed resident cases; 2 confirmed staff cases; 1 resident death

  • Oasis at Scholars Landing: 1 confirmed resident case

  • The Phoenix at Milton: 2 confirmed resident cases

  • The Phoenix at Roswell: 23 confirmed resident cases; 1 resident death

  • Reliable Health & Rehab at Lakewood: 7 confirmed resident cases; 5 confirmed staff cases; 1 resident death

  • Sadie G. Mays Health & Rehabilitation Center: 42 confirmed resident cases; 16 confirmed staff cases; 2 resident deaths

  • Sandy Springs-Memory Care: 3 confirmed resident cases; 8 confirmed staff cases; 1 resident death

  • Sandy Springs-Personal Care: 1 confirmed resident case; 1 confirmed staff case

  • Signature Healthcare of Buckhead: 49 confirmed resident cases; 13 confirmed staff cases

  • Somerby Sandy Springs: 1 confirmed resident case

  • Summerset: 41 confirmed resident cases; 26 confirmed staff cases

  • Westminster Commons: 13 confirmed resident cases; 11 confirmed staff cases

  • William Breman Jewish Home: 10 confirmed resident cases

As of Wednesday at noon, there have been 25,274 confirmed cases of the coronavirus, 4,948 hospitalized and 1,052 deaths in the state, according to the Georgia Department of Public Health's daily report. Since Tuesday at noon, that is an increase of 723 new cases, 170 hospitalization and 32 deaths.

Most of the top 10 counties with the highest number of coronavirus cases and deaths are in the metro Atlanta area, with Fulton County still first for cases. Dougherty County, though, which has the fifth-highest number of cases at 1,498, has the highest death count at 120.

According to the Johns Hopkins University of Medicine, there have been more than 1,015,000 confirmed coronavirus cases in the United States, with 58,000 deaths. More than 115,000 have recovered in the U.S. Worldwide, there are more than 3 million cases and 218,000 deaths.
